  2. Links inside of Immersive reader

We are using OneNote class notebook to accommodate district assessments for our ESL and SPED population. Is there a way for the links placed on individual words to work when inside the immersive reader? See this video for an example-https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_plXpp-QgS1VW9wOFBYdmpkT1k/view

  3. Learning tools - read selected text

Allow the user to select the text that they want read out rather than it reading the whole page. Also can the read button be available on a right click also? That way the user and type text, highlight, and have it read back without needing to navigate around the screen

  4. immersive reader

A child in my class finds immersive reader - specifically the way it splits words into syllables. The pupil only has access to an ipad at home. I have looked at office lens app as a way she could access learning tools at home by taking photos of pages from her reading book. But office lens doesn't split words into syllables..... Can this feature be added to office lens?

  5. immersive reader

Love the immersive reader and how it splits words into syllables. It is really helping my pupils. I'd love to see office lens app with the facility to split words up into syllables or somehow my children can easily take a photo of their book, inserted directly into onenote (rather than inserting it as a file) and use the immersive reader on their ipads at home.

  6. Using Finger to Control Immersive Reader

I have had many teachers request that students can use their finger to control the speed/rate at which the immersive reader works. Just like kids will drag their finger across text when they read, teachers would like to see this work using the Immersive Reader feature. Dragging a finger over the text would allow for more control and immersion into the text.

  7. Immersive Reader Issue

I was told to put this issue here in OneNote UserVoice. I have also posted it in Word Online UV.

I am having an issue with Immersive Reader in Word Online. I have placed a Word doc in OneDrive and opened it in Word Online. When the Immersive Reader opens the document (an exam), IR strips the outline letters (A, B, C, D). Therefore, when IR starts reading the exam, there is no vocalization of the outline structure. We are hoping this add-in will be useful for oral admin of exams for students with Accommodations. The problem is the format…

  9. Speech to Text tool to leave comments for students in Learning Tools

Want to use Speech to Text tool to leave comments for students in Learning Tools.

In fact something like video/screencapture comments that Eric Curts describes recently in Google EducationOnAir 2016 would be neat.

  10. Text to speach - languages

Office Lens has Norwegian text to speach support. I hope this is coming to OneNote - Learning Tools soon.

  12. Add fast-forward/rewind functionality to Immersive Reader

Please add fast-forward/rewind functionality to the Immersive Reader tool, so students can skip certain segments of text or listen to them again.

  14. Learning Tools and Notetaking

It would be really helpful if students could use learning tools immersive reader and linked notes at the same time for students to take notes as they listen to an article.

  15. Dictation Tool Tranlation

It would be amazing if the translation tool could be used to record a spoken language (e.g., French) and allow you to translate the on screen text to another language (e.g., English) to check for accuracy.

  19. Add hex code to Learning Tools background

Rather than just coloured backgrounds, you could use a HEX (or CYMK or RBG) code for students with Irlen Syndrome. Then the background would be specific to them!

  20. Adding PDF reader, PDF's page screenshot with analyze text image, highlighting tools and flashcard

Adding PDF reader and PDF's page screenshot is really helpful for everyone to highlight their book main point and flashcard quiz is very beneficial to get much easier to remember their main point.
