  1. Change Playback Speed of Recordings

I use OneNote to take notes for medical school and record the lectures simultaneously. It would be awesome to have an option to change the playback speed of audio recordings that are clipped to the page, so I can listen to my lectures at 1.5x or 2.0x speed!

  3. reading words while showing pictures

Hi I like how OneNote can read the document out loud to me but I need the pictures and diagrams to really understand what is being said.
It would be great if there was an option to have the text read out loud in a small window while sill being able to move through the document looking at pictures.

  4. Add fast-forward/rewind functionality to Immersive Reader

Please add fast-forward/rewind functionality to the Immersive Reader tool, so students can skip certain segments of text or listen to them again.

  6. Using Finger to Control Immersive Reader

I have had many teachers request that students can use their finger to control the speed/rate at which the immersive reader works. Just like kids will drag their finger across text when they read, teachers would like to see this work using the Immersive Reader feature. Dragging a finger over the text would allow for more control and immersion into the text.

  7. Export/save immersive reader audio as MP3

I would like to save the audio from immersive reader just like basic text to speech program. In addition, I would like onenote to also read a selected/highlighted word/phrases.

  8. Adding PDF reader, PDF's page screenshot with analyze text image, highlighting tools and flashcard

Adding PDF reader and PDF's page screenshot is really helpful for everyone to highlight their book main point and flashcard quiz is very beneficial to get much easier to remember their main point.

  11. Use cortana to start dictation

I can already launch OneNote with Cortana but it would be great if I could have a page open and then say "cortana start dictation in OneNote" and have it start taking down what I say. This would be useful if I am reading a textbook and want to take some notes without having to look away from the book I'm reading

  12. Option to turn off "automatic punctuation"

When I pause to think, Dictate inserts a period or question mark.
Dictate in Word and Outlook both let me insert my own punctuation by saying "period" or "question mark."
The automatic insertion of punctuation (mostly in the wrong place) makes Dictate mostly useless in OneNote. I have to do it in Word or Outlook, then copy paste to OneNote (backwards from how I normally do things).

While I'm at it when I say "open quote" it inserts a space after the " which is almost never right. E.g., " start of quoted item"

I love dictation. it saves me…

  14. use high contrast, adjustable r

    For students with visual impairments:
Allow students to alter/personalise ribbon / icon colours and sizes to provide improved visibility of controls(larger and higher contrast). For some students this would reduce dependence on screen magnifiers.
Group other features on Learning tools such as "Copy text from picture" command and "Ink to Text"

  17. learning tools print

Learning tools enables the document to be broken by syllable. Enabling of print functions at this point would be beneficial. Teachers could create dyslexic friendly tests.

  20. Immersive reader in app, but not in program

I can only find the immersive Reader in the app. I can`t find it in the program. Is it there? If not, it really should.
