  1. Using Finger to Control Immersive Reader

I have had many teachers request that students can use their finger to control the speed/rate at which the immersive reader works. Just like kids will drag their finger across text when they read, teachers would like to see this work using the Immersive Reader feature. Dragging a finger over the text would allow for more control and immersion into the text.

  2. Immersive Reader Issue

I was told to put this issue here in OneNote UserVoice. I have also posted it in Word Online UV.

I am having an issue with Immersive Reader in Word Online. I have placed a Word doc in OneDrive and opened it in Word Online. When the Immersive Reader opens the document (an exam), IR strips the outline letters (A, B, C, D). Therefore, when IR starts reading the exam, there is no vocalization of the outline structure. We are hoping this add-in will be useful for oral admin of exams for students with Accommodations. The problem is the format…

  3. immersive reader

A child in my class finds immersive reader - specifically the way it splits words into syllables. The pupil only has access to an ipad at home. I have looked at office lens app as a way she could access learning tools at home by taking photos of pages from her reading book. But office lens doesn't split words into syllables..... Can this feature be added to office lens?

  5. Dictar en un idioma y automáticamente traducir a otro

La herramienta de dictar está genial. Pero me gustaría que a la vez que se dicta se tradujese el texto a otro idioma.

Ejemplo. Dicto en inglés y aparece en español.
(Podría incluso salir en el idioma en que se dicta y en al que se está traduciendo)

  6. Add hex code to Learning Tools background

Rather than just coloured backgrounds, you could use a HEX (or CYMK or RBG) code for students with Irlen Syndrome. Then the background would be specific to them!
