TurnItIn Enabled Assignment Submission
Plagiarism checking assignments via a direct connection to TurnItIn or other similar services would be great. This would allow us to completely eliminate requiring a third party LMS and only use Classroom.

As a teacher-librarian in a high school, I am the account admin for Turnitin. We are starting our roll out of Microsoft Classroom and, as TII users, teachers are asking me for information about integrating TII with MC. As far as I can find, there is none. TII would be wise to bring this newest LMS on the block into its fold while MC would be equally wise to partner up with TII, the world wide leader in plagiarism detection and revision.

On turnitin.com they say they use LTI from IMS Global for their integrations. Looking on the IMSglobal site I see that Microsoft is already using all or parts of the LTI product for SDS and OneNote Classroom. So, perhaps the integration might not be so difficult? I know our teachers would like this feature and it would enable us eliminate 3rd party LMS as BGS_Colin says.

This is available in most LMSs, like Studywiz, Teamie, Blackbaud, the list goes on. Turnitin has an API.
Usually the student uploads an assignment and then either it is automatically checked and the similarity report is available to the teacher. Or there is a button to send the assignment to Turnitin. Options for the teacher to see the report and or the student too depending on the goal of the assessment.

Can you explain how you would expect the user flow from Classroom?
