Allow teachers to see student's uploaded work before it's submitted.
It would be great if teachers could see student's uploaded work before it's submitted.
Currently the student has to turn in the work before the teacher can see it.
This would allow for progressive drafting etc.

I would like all the student work stored by assignment in classroom - going back and opening it one by one from a previous assignment is tedious - would like to just go to a folder and have it all in there.
You can currently do drafts by having the student submit the work and the teacher return it.
I tested this doing two drafts before final submission, which is what our teachers want. So you can do it - have an experiment.

All student assignment/work data should be stored in the Classroom Site rather than the student's personal OneDrive.
I had a case last year where I lost several student's work because they deleted it from their OneDrive...
I still can't recommend our teacher's use Classroom due to this.
With the new sync client and online UX experiences, it makes much more sense for the data to be stored in the Classroom Site. Students can still sync their assignment folder, or access it directly from the OneDrive online interface, as well as from Classroom itself.
This would be a great feature that would set it apart from the competition
As an English teacher, this would be an awesome feature!
I agree this would be an important feature. I have done this with Google Drive/Docs before using an Add-In called Doctopus.
Definitely would be a great feature to have
Google Classroom allows for this where a teacher can make comments to students' work before it is submitted.
