Every time I click Calendar, Conversations, Files, etc I shouldn't be redirected to SharePoint or Outlook with that info. It would be nice if that content was embedded as part of the same portal. One single pane of glass. I don't want multiple tabs or browser windows open to manage the class. Having links is great, but having full functionality within the Classroom portal is optimal and necessary for busy instructors.
I completely agree with this. Ideally, each tab will be displayed in the frame below the links, not a separate browser tab each time we visit a different section. Even if accessing a separate product, this should have a solid "All in one" feel to it.
This is a much need feature. You have to stop with all the different types of branding. One drive for business when this is education is another example just keep this simple that's what we teachers need
It's great that MS is using all of its wonderful web-based apps like Class Notebook, etc., but it would be great if a new browser window didn't open to launch so many apps. I think it will be confusing for teachers when they have 5-6 browser windows open to work in their Classroom.
i really like this set up, however, when i select any of the top menu items, calendar, conversations, class notebook, they open in another window and would really prefer to have the top menu stay the same and have the internal page change.
