A document should be locked for editing after a teacher grades and returns it. Students should not be able to delete or change anything after it has been graded and returned.300 votes
It would be great if teachers could see student's uploaded work before it's submitted.
Currently the student has to turn in the work before the teacher can see it.
This would allow for progressive drafting etc.134 votes
Add a publish date to assignments - when set, an assignment is hidden until the publish date, then appears to students. This way, a teacher could enter assignments in advance, timed to appear when appropriate for students.192 votes
Ability to delete classes I create24 votes
Thank you for your idea. We are considering this feature for a future version.

Make it so that groups synced by SDS do not show up in the Groups pane in OWA.19 votes
In Classroom, the option to delete assignments en masse via check boxes next to the assignments would be wonderful. Currently, if I want to delete multiple assignments, I must do so individually for each class.10 votes
Thank you for your suggestion. We’re considering bulk management options for assignments as a future feature.
it would be nice in the Admin portal if an admin could click on a student/teacher, see all the sections they are assigned to, and then click on that section for the section details.8 votes
Great feedback! Thanks Zac, we’ll see what we can do on this.
It would be nice to be able to see a bit more information when we're syncing out SIS data. Things like the last sync time, current progress, any issues that have already come up, etc.
Right now I've just uploaded a CSV full of SIS data and all I can see is the "Sync Enabled" screen so I have no idea where it is in processing the list.10 votes
Thanks for this feedback too. We are working on this one as well to make sure that the UI provides more feedback and progress on how the sync is proceeding. Thanks again Sean.
Classes should not show up in the address book9 votes
A few clarifying points / questions about class membership and the address book:
1. Classes today have hidden membership (you have to be a member of the class to see other members in the class).
2. An email to the class alias will be rejected if you are not also a member of the class.
Are there other specific scenarios that customers are trying to block by hiding the Class (class name and alias) from being listed in the address book?
The error interface is currently a bit too difficult to navigate quickly, especially where there are a large number of errors in the SIS data.
It'd be nice if we could filter the error log to focus on specific types of errors (related to users vs classes, etc).3 votes
Hi Sean, thank you for sharing this feedback! I’m so sorry we didn’t get back to you earlier. We are definitely looking into how to improve the error logging in SDS, and will try to see how we can apply your feedback. Thank you
